Sandra Bullock -actress, producer, writer and mom was born on July 26, 1964 in a Washington DC suburb. Her mother was a German opera singer and father a voice coach and executive from Alabama. Sandra's grandfather was a German Rocket Scientist.
Sandra grew up in Germany. She studied ballet and sang in children's choirs throughout her childhood. She moved to the Washington DC area at age 12. Sandra attended East Carolina University and left her Senior year, 3 credits short of graduation to pursue an acting career.

Sandra Bullock has donated $1 million several times to the Red Cross- for the Liberty Disaster Relief Fund in 2001, the Indian Ocean earthquake in 2004 and tsunamis In 2010. She also donated $1 million to relief efforts following the Haiti earthquake. Sandra was also one of the many stars who urged people to sign the petition for clean-up of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
Sandra Bullock threw her full efforts into her marriage to Jesse James to the extend of helping him file fand accepting custody of his young daughter. Unfortunately the marriage ended after 5 years due to rumored infidelities on James part. James later apologized publicly to Bullock and his children for his supposed actions.
After Bullocks recent divorce from Jesse James she started her new life with adoptive son Louis Bardo Bullock from New Orleans, now 3 years old.
